How Much Meat Do I Need?
People often ask how much wild game meat they should order. The answer depends on many things.
Different cuts provide different "yields," or percentages, of meat. Boneless cuts typically have 100% yield since they are 100% servable meat. Bone-in cuts have less than 100% yield since you can't eat bone (but they're still pretty good to chew on).
In general, 1/3 lb (5 oz) of meat per person is an average serving. Other things to consider when ordering is the number of guests, number of courses served, big eaters vs. light eaters, etc.

Chop Ready Rack Estimated Servings
Estimating order size for chop ready racks is different because the rack is typically cut and served as individual chops. Depending on chop size and desired serving size you may want to serve one, two, or more chops per person. Each rack can be cut into 8 full size chops plus one smaller chop. Larger racks produce larger chops, smaller racks produce smaller chops.
